Learning Strategies Instruction


Learning Strategies Instruction (LSI) enhances the educational outcomes of students through explicit training in various learning strategies which are based on personal strengths and weaknesses, specific course demands, and modified according to academic progress or changing needs. 

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Reading
  • Note-taking
  • Test-taking and test anxiety
  • Memory
  • Studying
  • Time management
  • Stress management
  • Personalized learning style assessments

LSI is for you if:

  • you are motivated to improve your general learning
  • you are struggling to meet GPA goals
  • you have high academic achievement goals, including demanding requirements
  • you are a future tutor, coach or educator
