Assistive Technology Lab
The Assistive Technology Lab (ATL) is an adaptive lab
geared toward providing equal access to electronic information for
faculty, staff, and students with documented
disabilities.

Carrier Library,
Room 102
Hours of Operation:
The lab is available for use anytime the library is
open for operation.
Student Use of the ATLab
Students desiring access to the ATLab must meet the
following conditions:
- Be registered with the Office of Disability
Services.
- Have an ATLab Access Card issued to them by
Disability Services. This card is
required for entrance into the lab and should be presented with
your JACard to the Carrier Library
Circulation Desk to receive a key for the lab.
- Only students registered with ODS may use the
lab. Please do not bring friends
or groups into the computer lab.
- Please keep noise to a minimum. The lab is small.
- Some of the computers have specialized software
installed that is specific to those with visual impairments and/or
learning disabilities. Please be
considerate of the amount of time you spend on the computer.
- The ATLab is for you please remove your belongings
and trash when you leave.
- Please note: Abuse or
disregard of the above conditions may result in loss of use of the
lab.
Faculty & Staff Use of the ATLab
Faculty and staff desiring to use the ATLab should
have documentation of their disability on file with Affirmative
Action (Faculty) or Human Resources (Staff). Please contact the Office of Disability Services
to receive an ATLab Access Card. This
card is required for entrance into the lab and should be presented
with your JACard to the Carrier Library
Circulation Desk to receive a key for the lab.
