Target Gives Big at Career Fair
This fall's Career Fair was a huge success. Nearly
150 firms and organizations invaded the Convocation Center to spend
the day greeting students and arranging interviews for permanent
and internship employment. And, did they meet the students!
Hundreds and hundreds of students spent the afternoon swamping the
recruiters.
Just before the Career Fair opened to students,
representatives from Target stores presented a $5,000 gift to the
College of Business. This was part of Target's continuing
generosity to the College. Many College of Business alumni are
among Target's emerging successful managers.
Dr. Robert Reid receives donation of the Target
managers JMU '00 alum Ben Sibley, Logistics and Operations in
Sterling, Virginia and Mark Harnett,
Store team Leader in Reston.
