Meet Jen Almjeld!

Jen Almjeld is a second-year faculty member here at WRTC. Last year she adored teaching Feminism and Rhetoric. It's currently her favorite subject to teach, but it's always changing. Her favorite word is "home." Home is where she does everything: relax, work on scholarshop, play on new media, entertain her cats, spend time with her soon-to-be hubby. Her least favorite word is "realistically." She finds it limiting and judgy, and just doesn't like it. 

Jen loves to eat at Beyond, a local sushi restaurant in Harrisonburg, but still considers the Artful Dodger to be one of her favorite haunts. She has always wanted to be a layer; she likes talking to/at people, but sort of sucks at fighting so would be probably awful at it. When asked what her favorite curse word: "I'm a fan of the f-bomb. Sometimes it's the only word that gets the job done."

Jen's favorite cheese is Gouda. Respect.
