Hurricane Relief: JMU students pose at a construction site in Waveland, Miss., this week where they are doing relief work in areas devastated last August by Hurricane Katrina. The work ranges from light construction to cleaning yards to preparing meals. The group of 56 students, teachers and staff left Harrisonburg Sunday, May 7, and will return on Saturday, May 13. Each person paid $275 to go on the trip. This is the second trip to the area for some members of the group who did similar work in Biloxi during Thanksgiving week. More information about the trip is available here: http://wiki.coe.jmu.edu/Katrina2/11.
