UPB Presents Spotlight Sounds

UPB’s just brought us their fall concert, but this week they’re bringing even more great performances to campus! Get ready for another showcase of amazing musical acts, headlined by Little River Creek Police, a folk-rock and roll band based in Richmond, VA.

This event is a great way to see new, up and coming artists free of charge! Their most recent EP, Quiet the Ruckus, is available on Spotify as well as on their website. Performing in TDU, this Friday October 26th, the show’s small venue will give it a personal feel, and will be a great opportunity to have a concert experience and discover some new music, as well as support independent artists.

As always, the headliner will be prefaced with an opener, Brent Funkhouser, from right here in the Shenandoah Valley. His americana style music is described on his website as, “observant, romantic, and at times political.” The event will kick off at 7pm and go till around 10pm, so you can end this fall week in a cozy environment, listening to great live music! Hope to see you there!
