Getting Involved at JMU with Student Org Night

SUMMARY: New Dukes have a chance to dive right into JMU life with this fall’s Student Org Night! On August 31 from 5-7pm on Hillside Field, many of our 300+ clubs and some of their most involved members will set up tables and encourage curious students to stop by and learn more about their organizations. Whether you’re a freshman, transfer student, or you’ve been at JMU for years, you can come discover this campus’s vast opportunities. After finding out how you can get involved, take a while to unwind with 3 classic ways Dukes have fun on campus, starting with a movie playing at 7pm in the Grafton-Stovall Theatre. After the movie, take a quick walk down to TDU and laugh along with one of Funny Freakin’ Friday’s talented comedians. Cap off the night with Late Night Breakfast from 10 to midnight in the Festival Conference & Student Center. So, head on over to Student Org Night and you’ll be well on your way to finding your place at JMU and making wonderful memories!
