Dr. Lantz, College of Science and Mathematics, Recieves External Funding
NewsDr. Chris S. Lantz, Professor in the Biology Department, has been awarded $445,500 from the National Institutes of Health for his proposal entitled, “Interleukin-3 Expression and Function in Blood-stage Malaria Infection in Mice”. Dr. Lantz will be working with a team of students to determine the role of the protein Interleukin-3 in the immune response to the protozoan parasite Plasmodium.
