Free IRB Educational Podcasts

News

As part of the Office of Research Integrity’s continued effort to conduct more outreach, we wanted to inform you that the Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) has partnered with the Human Research Protection Office at Washington University in St. Louis (WU) to create More than Meets the IRB: A joint initiative of WU in St. Louis and PRIM&R, a series of free educational podcasts.

According to the PRIM&R’s website, “The podcast will feature a series of interviews, panel discussions, and reviews of issues related to human research ethics by discussing current events in the human research world, talks with investigators and research subjects, and reviews of literature relevant to those interested in research ethics.  New podcasts will be released on the second and fourth week of each month. Please sign up to be notified when a new podcast is available.”

The first podcast, “Aminu Yakubu: Ethical Issues Surrounding Global Research,” is available now.
