Reallocations within the Mason St Deck

News

The opening of Hotel Madison in early May will result in changes to parking allocation in the Mason Street Parking Deck. On May 3, 2018, 119 spaces on level 2 and the remaining 63 faculty and staff spaces on level G of the deck will be reallocated for use by hotel and conference center guests. All hotel and conference center spaces will be indicated by signage and will be reserved 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Commuter parking will continue to be available on levels 3 – 5. Additional parking for commuter students displaced by the reserved parking is available on levels 3 – 5 of the Warsaw Avenue Parking Deck, and in C4 and R1 Lots by the Hillside and Village residence hall areas.

Students are also encouraged to consider alternate methods of transportation to campus during peak times, when parking will be limited. Visit http://www.hdpt.com for a complete listing of available Harrisonburg Public Transit bus routes. Remote parking is available in parking lots R10 and R11 on Port Republic Road, with nearby bus service to campus.

Alternate parking for faculty and staff displaced from the ground floor of the Mason Street Parking Deck will be located on levels 2 – 7 of the Grace Street Parking Deck, located on Grace Street adjacent to the Student Success Center, and levels G and 2 of the Warsaw Avenue Parking Deck, located adjacent to the Forbes Center.
