Concussions are one of the most important public health issues of our time.

Join Crossroads to Brain Injury Recovery and the JMU Office of Disability Services on National Brain Injury Awareness Day - Wednesday, March 22 - to watch Sports Illustrated’s Best Sports Movie of 2012.  “Head Games” is a documentary about the silent concussion crisis in American sports.  Athletes from professional to youth levels share their personal struggles in dealing with the devastating and long-term effects of concussions. The film will enrich students and faculty alike through the personal stories, scientific investigation, and a forward-looking response regarding what they can provide in their careers to address the silent epidemic.

Following the movie there will be an engaging audience Q&A session led by JMU faculty with expertise in Sports Training, Chronic Disease and Disabilities, and Communication Sciences.
