Recognition Leave Granted by President Alger

In recognition of your hard work and dedicated service to the university, President Jon Alger is pleased to grant all full-time administrative & professional faculty and classified employees 20 hours of additional recognition leave (4 hours was previously granted on May 9, 2014).

Taken in conjunction with the leave granted by the Governor, JMU will close on Wednesday, November 26, extending the university’s Thanksgiving holiday by an additional day. JMU will also close on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23, extending the university’s winter holiday break so that employees may have two full weeks off and return to work on Monday, January 5.
