PAX To Receive Community Service Award on April 26th.


 

The Mahatma Gandhi Center for Global Nonviolence Community Service Award, is to bestowed this year to PAX of MCC on April 26, 2015. We hope you will plan to attend, bringing friends and family to celebrate this important part of your life’s experience. We are honored that the Mahatma Gandhi Center for Global Nonviolence at James Madison University should recognize PAX in this way.

Join us on Sunday, April 26th, 2015 at 4:00pm in the Festival Highland Room! Parking is available in the C10 and C12 lots.

The meeting space and ceremony with take place in the Highland Room which is located on the ground floor in the Festival Conference and Student Center at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA. It is a large circular building, once inside please follow signs to the Highland Room. (Parking in C10 and C12 on the JMU map,) access to parking from Reservoir Street or Carrier Drive. 
The room is available from 3 PM until 10 PM. Various dining options are available in the Festival building until 8 PM. For a map of James Madison University see https://www.jmu.edu/map/

Note that tables designated for your geographic area of service will be set up for conversation and mini-reunions. Please urge your service colleagues to join you. Snacks and drinks are provided courtesy of MCC East Coast.

You are encouraged to send a brief video or written account of your PAX experience to Dr. Beitzel, especially if you are unable to attend. They will be shared at the event (see email address below).
