Adobe Day - September 12
Representatives from Adobe and Information Technology
will be hosting our second annual Adobe Day. This event is scheduled for
Wednesday, September 12 from 9am-2pm in the Festival Center Highlands Room.
Creative Suite 6, Acrobat Professional, Tips and Tricks and more will be
presented. Further details are provided below.
Registration is required by this Thursday, September 6 if
you are planning to attend the noon-1pm session and join us for lunch. You may

Adobe Creative Suite 6 for Education
Adobe's Creative Suite 6 has improved tools, performance,
and workflows that make it easier to create and deliver all types of digital
media content. The applications have been re-written to improve performance and
productivity, making it easier for novices and experts to get the job done.
This session will provide an overview and demonstration of new features that
enable students and faculty to create and repurpose content for any device,
from desktops to tablets of all kinds. In addition to the core products like
Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat, you'll see how Dreamweaver and InDesign are
revolutionizing the web, HTML5, and democratizing digital publishing.

Understand how to adapt your existing web development
skills for mobile devices. With Adobe Dreamweaver users can leverage jQuery
Mobile starter templates and components to build interactive websites tailored
for the iPhone or Android - and then use the new PhoneGap integration to
package these as native iOS and Android applications.
