We will be sending information out about available College and Departmental scholarships within the next week. Many of these scholarships have financial need as a criteria. The university can not determine financial need if you've not filed a FAFSA. PLEASE note the following information from JMU's Financial Aid Office

  • Spring Financial Aid Newsletter covers many important topics, including the FAFSA priority filing date of March 1, summer financial aid, exit loan counseling requirements for May graduates, loan repayment, satisfactory progress requirements, 2014-15 financial aid awards, scholarships for 2014-15 and much more.
  • IMPORTANT: The 2014-15 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available. Apply now to ensure that the Department of Education processes your FAFSA by March 1st, our priority deadline. If necessary, you may estimate your income and make corrections later.
