SUMMARY: CoB students learn the basics of professional dinner etiquette.

Business meetings often take place over lunch or dinner, and the College of Business (CoB) wants to help students to make a good impression. The CoB Professional Etiquette Dinner, hosted by the Office of Experiential Learning, gives students a chance to learn from an etiquette pro. At the most recent dinner, held on Feb. 8, Certified Etiquette Consultant Susan Laser guided students through a mocktail reception and five-course dinner, teaching them skills such as how to work a formal networking hour, how to use various utensils and to how to engage in conversation with dining partners they have just met. The event, which is free for all CoB students, is offered multiple times throughout the academic year.
