For the second year in a row, James Madison University’s Information Security (InfoSec) MBA is Virginia’s top online MBA program, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report.

The 2017 edition of the publication’s Best Online MBA Programs ranks JMU’s InfoSec MBA at No. 21 nationally—higher than any other program in the Commonwealth and up from last year’s spot at No. 28. The program also ranked No. 8 overall for student engagement.

“It is an honor to again be ranked as one of the best MBA programs in the nation,” said Dr. Matt Rutherford, faculty director of JMU’s MBA Programs. “We are proud of the high level of engagement between our faculty and our students, and it has been exciting to see how our graduates are using their degrees for the betterment of their careers and themselves.”

The JMU College of Business, including its online MBA programs, is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business—a credential achieved by only the top five percent of business programs worldwide. The university offers three distinctive MBA programs, all of which offer a blend of face-to-face and online class sessions. Designed for working professionals, these programs offer small class sizes and emphasize student engagement. Learn more at www.jmu.edu/mba.
