Alex McGuire, JMU ’17, has been selected to receive the Institute of Certified Professional Managers' management scholarship for 2016-2017. The scholarship is awarded annually to a rising senior majoring in management with an outstanding academic record and demonstrated leadership potential. Alex is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, and Sigma Iota Epsilon Management Honors Fraternity. He has consistently made the Dean’s List from fall 2013 to 2015 and holds a cumulative GPA of 3.75. The Institute is a business center of the JMU College of Business and has a 42-year history of certifying the competency of managers and leaders worldwide.
