Representatives from Deloitte Volunteer to Judge Case Competition

Winners of Innovation Case CompetitionOn Nov. 15, 2013, four representatives from Deloitte Consulting LLP volunteered their time and expertise to judge the 7th Annual Innovation Case Competition for the Management of Technology and Innovation course (MGT 420).

For the past seven semesters, representatives from Deloitte have been committed to providing JMU students with guidance and support both inside and outside of the classroom.

The adept team from Deloitte included National Managing Director of the Strategic Client Ventures Schaffer Hilton, Senior Manager Ussama Baggili, Manager Kedar Kamalapurkar, and consultant Swatee Gupta.

Deloitte’s judging team attended all ten of the presentations, offering questions and providing feedback on each group’s case solutions. Through contributing insight gained from their personal and professional experiences, the Deloitte judging team continues to prepare students for life after college.

Thanks to the Deloitte judges for sharing their knowledge, and congratulations to Jason Welsford, Karen Teos, Richard Asbell, Kyle O’Keefe, and Garrett Hansen for being named the winning team of this year’s Innovation Case Competition.
