Marketing Faculty Awarded with McGhee Endowment
The McGhee Endowment for the Marketing Department rewards exceptional efforts by faculty members each year. This year, Department Head Dr. Val Larsen recognized Cathy Snyder, Mert Tokman and Steve Hertzenberg.
Dr. Larsen recognized Cathy Snyder for “outstanding teaching and for outstanding service as a freshman advisor. In both teaching and advising, Cathy has served exceptionally well for many years.”
Of Mert Tokman, Dr. Larsen said, “Mert has been especially effective in working with donors and in working on our Sales Center initiative. He also directs the Antwerp program, and students love him.”
Dr. Larsen recognized Steve Hertzenberg for “teaching excellence and for building relationship with employers.”
The Jacqueline V. McGhee Memorial Endowment for Faculty Support in Marketing for the College of Business was established in 2008 by Frederic and Gail McGhee. The endowment provides funds annually to support the faculty members in the Marketing Department to support endeavors such as research, curriculum development, technology enhancements, conference attendance, and professional development initiatives.
Congratulations to these faculty members on their awards.
