Rick Mathieu Named Associate Dean for Academic Affairs


JMU Faculty Rick MathieuDr. Rick Mathieu was recently named associate dean for academic affairs for the College of Business. He served as the interim associate dean for the past two years. 

Rick started working at JMU in 2005.  Prior to serving as interim associate dean, Rick was department head for the Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics Department. He also teaches several classes in the CIS/BSAN department.

He earned his PhD at the University of Virginia, his M.S. at the University of Virginia, and his B.S. at the University of Delaware.
