Barkley Rosser Featured on Virginia Insight

Barkley RosserDr. Barkley Rosser, Professor of Economics and Kirby L. Cramer, Jr., Professor of Business Administration was featured on WMRA’s Virginia Insight on June 20. Virginia Insight is a live, call-in radio show hosted by Tom Graham, and covers topics that matter to the community, from politics to culture, technology to religion, entertainment to relationships.

Dr. Rosser gave an overview of “Rosser’s Equation,” and answered questions from the audience. His “Rosser’s Equation,” first labeled by others in 2010, shows that people retiring at a time the system has been forecast to “go bankrupt” in a bit over 20 years if there are not changes to the system, will actually receive more in Social Security benefits after inflation than those retiring today.
