The Regional Senior Managers' Course in Conventional Weapons Destruction concludes

SUMMARY: The Regional Senior Managers' Course (SMC) in Conventional Weapons Destruction (CWD), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, concluded Friday, 13 July, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The three-week course was a great success. Mr. Abdul Hamid Ibrahimi, who spoke on behalf of the participants during the closing ceremony, had this to say about the course: "After having attended the SMC, we'll be able to better contribute in the strategic and day-to-day activities of our organizations, and we'll be able to provide feedback and inputs in a more effective and academic way. This will of course benefit our organization outputs, and ultimately, we will be able to deliver a more quality work to our vulnerable mine-affected population."
