SUMMARY: Biology student Rachel Barborek's Honors thesis won the JMU Phi Beta Kappa best thesis award. Her thesis is entitled, "Detecting the Cold: Do Innexins Function in Cold Nociception?" Her research mentor was Dr. Susan Halsell.
