Atomic Priesthood Project: New Images Variant
Opening Reception: Jan 19th, 5 – 7PM.
Exhibition Dates: Jan 19th - Feb 19th, 2016

Multi-disciplinary artist Bryan McGovern Wilson will be on campus for installation of "The Atomic Priesthood Project: New Images Variant" in the New Image Gallery and the READING ROOM in Duke Hall's first floor critique space from January 19th -February 5th.

"The Atomic Priesthood Project" is a long-term, emergent body of work that visualizes a ritual-art-religion as an alternative means of nuclear waste stewardship and management. Often displayed as a collection of drawings, sculptural works, material culture archive, and related performances, the installation of these works is physically and conceptually site-specific. Co-hosted by OFAR, an artist residency in Harrisonburg, VA focusing on social justice.
