Berkeley Glenn Elementary partners with JMU for energy activities

JMU Headlines

Students at Berkely Glenn Elementary School will examine where energy comes from, read books about energy, race sail cars and build pinwheels that do more than spin in the breeze from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at the school.

That's when the students will receive a visit from James Madison University students and staff representing the university's Office for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy.

Media are invited to cover the session, which will be held in several classrooms. Media will need to check in at the main office.

For more information, contact Remy Pangle, director of OASE, at panglerm@jmu.edu, or teacher Kaeli Spencer at kspencer@waynesboro.kl12.va.us.
