MONEY magazine has identified James Madison University as a great investment based on educational quality, affordability and high-earning alumni in its “Best Colleges for Your Money” list.

JMU ranks No. 25 in the Best Public College in the nation category and No. 9 in the Best Public College in the South category, out of 727 colleges that met the size, financial and graduation rate requirements to be included in MONEY’s 2018 Best Colleges ranking.

This ranking is unique as it combines pricing estimates with reliable indicators of alumni financial success to measure an institution’s ability to provide real value for tuition dollars. To do this, MONEY evaluates an institution’s performance based on important measures such as graduation rates, tuition charges, family borrowing, alumni earnings and 22 other data points.
