JMU designates makeup days

Due to the recent inclement weather, the following days have been designated as official makeup days:

• For classes canceled on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, the makeup day is Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.
• For classes canceled on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, the makeup day is Saturday, March 19, 2016.

Faculty members have several options for making up missed instructional time. They can:

• Hold class on the official university makeup day.
• Hold class at another time acceptable to class members.  The faculty member's department will arrange the time and location.
• Accommodate for missed instructional time within remaining class meeting times.

Students should check with their professors to determine how missed classes will be accommodated.
