U.Md. students to share sustainability ideas at workshop
Peer educators and their advisor from the University of Maryland will present an interactive workshop on their efforts to educate students at UMD about the fundamental issues of sustainability. Come to Festival Conference Room four to learn more about what UMD has done, and how this might inform JMU student sustainability efforts.
The “Think Green: It’s Friday” series is sponsored by JMU’s Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability. The series was started to raise awareness among the JMU and Harrisonburg communities of ways to conduct environmentally sustainable lives and improve the community.
The event is free and open to the public.
