Purple, Gold and... Silver!

Former James Madison archer Jacob Wukie ('09) helped lead the United States archery team to a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics, Saturday, July 28, the first of the games for the country. This was Wukie's first medal and the first team archery medal for the U.S. since the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Wukie qualified 12th for the individual archery competition but was eliminated in the round of 32 by Norwegian Baard Nesteng.
