History department welcomes new faculty
Dr. Nükhet Varlik, Ph.D.,University of Chicago, joined the department as assistant professor of early Islamic history. Dr. Christopher Versen, Ph.D., Florida State University, joined the department as Visiting Assistant Professor of U.S. Intellectual and Native American History. Godfrey Vincent has been added to the department's faculty cohort. Vincent is the recipient of the first dissertation fellowship awarded by the department and will join us from Morgan State University where he is completing a Ph.D. in history.
