NELSON INSTITUTE DIRECTOR TAKES PART IN MIDDLE EAST ROUNDTABLE

HARRISONBURG—Dr. J. Peter Pham, Director of the Nelson Institute for International and Public Affairs, participated in a roundtable on “ Iraq and the Future of the Middle East.” The discussion, sponsored by the quarterly foreign policy journal The National Interest and the Nixon Center took place at Washington, D.C., headquarters of the center, a research institute founded in 1994 by the former president.

Other participants in the discussion, moderated by Dr. Nikolas K. Gvosdev, editor of TheNational Interest and senior fellow in strategic studies at the Nixon Center, included Paul Saunders, David Rivkin, Geoffrey Kemp, Alexis Debat, and other foreign policy experts.

The ninety-minute discussion was broadcast live beginning at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time by C-SPAN.
