NELSON INSTITUTE DIRECTOR TO SPEAK AT HOMELAND SECURITY CONFERENCE

HARRISONBURG—Dr. J. Peter Pham, Director of the Nelson Institute for International and Public Affairs at James Madison University, will speak today at a research symposium on “Homeland Security: Engaging the Frontlines” at the National Academies of Science in Washington, D.C.
The symposium is sponsored by JMU’s Institute for Infrastructure and Information Assurance, in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences’ Federal Facilities Council. It will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and, may be viewed live on JMU’s Web site at http://media.jmu.edu/. Dr. Pham is scheduled to speak at approximately 9:30 a.m. on national strategies for preventing attacks.
