I continued my dancing career at Dance Academy in Richmond, VA. I was also a member of the Deep Run Dance Team where I served as captain my Junior and Senior year. # of Years on Team: 3 Future Plans: After graduating from college I would love to be involved in the Peace Corps and further the efforts to improve global warming. Fun Fact: I collect thumb tacts! |
 Name: Carlin BowersoxHometown: Burke, Virginia Year: Sophomore Major: Kinesiology/Pre-Physical Therapy Dance History: I started dancing at the age of 3 for Linda's Academy of Dance and starting competing at the age of 7. I have studied jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, pointe and musical production. # of Years on Team: 1 Future Plans: I would like to become a physical therapist and maybe someday open my own practice. I also plan on someday auditioning to become a Radio City Rockette because it's been a life-long dream of mine! Fun Fact: I have never had a bug bite. |

Dance team throughout highschool. MVP junior and senior year. UDA allstar junior and senior year. # of Years on Team: 3 Future Plans: Become a professional dancer... sytycd maybe?? Haha maybe open up a studio someday or get into marketing for a magazine company. Fun Fact: I had stitches in my tongue in 3rd grade - ouch!! |
 Name: Eryn CodyHometown: Manassas, Virginia Year: Junior Major: SMAD Dance History: I started dancing at the age of 3 and have been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. I have danced with Metstar Elite Dance Company, Showcase Dance Studio, Northern Virginia Dance Academy and the Carmel Ballet Academy. I have been a competitive dancer for 6 years and was also a member of the Osbourn Park High School dance team for 4 years where I served as captain my senior year. # of Years on Team: 3 Future Plans: I definitely plan to keep on dancing and NEVER stop. I am hoping to make a break into the media world when I graduate, but I do not have any permanent plans : ) Fun Fact: I’m OBSESSED with Disney. |
 Name: Vanessa GravesHometown: Ridgewood, New Jersey Year: Sophomore Major: Hospitality and Tourism Management Dance History: I started dancing at a studio when I was 5 years old and continued through high school. I danced competitively with Robin Horneff’s Performing Arts Center for 7 years while studying lyrical, jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop. # of Years on Team: 2 Future Plans: I would like to become a wedding planner and hopefully own my own business someday. I would also like to continue dancing in the future to some capacity. Fun Fact: I danced in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! |
 Name: Caitlin Hardgrove (Officer)Hometown: Rockville, Maryland Year: Senior Major: SMAD, Music Industry Minor Dance History: From the age of five to eleven I participated in Irish dancing, and then I was on the Liberty Belle Pom Squad at Magruder High School for four years. I was captain my senior year, and we won the State Title my junior and senior year in 2005 and 2006. # of Years on Team: 4 Future Plans: I plan to try and make the rest of college last as long as possible, and then eventually get a job that I don’t mind getting up for with some traveling and of course dancing thrown in there too! Fun Fact: I can levitate. |
 Name: Lauren Hensel (Officer)Hometown: Fairfax, Virginia Year: Senior Major: SMAD, Corporate Communication Dance History: The majority of my training has been ballet, jazz, and contemporary. I started dancing competitively at the age of 5. I was on my high school dance team for all four years and was a co-captain my senior year. # of Years on Team: 4 Future Plans: I would like to land a job in communications, event planning or public relations. In addition, I would like to teach dance or coach a team. Fun Fact: I have small pores. |
 Name: Samantha Johnson (Captain)Hometown: Fredericksburg, Virginia Year: Senior Major: IDLS/Elementary Education Dance History: From the age of five I have danced at Fredericksburg School of the Performing Arts or at Orange School of the Performing Arts. I have danced competitively for nine of those thirteen years. I cheered for four years at my high school, Courtland in Spotsylvania County on both the fall squad and competitive squad. I’m also an All-American Cheerleader. # of Years on Team: 4 Future Plans: I plan to finish out my education at JMU and begin working as a schoolteacher. I also plan to continue dancing as long I possibly can! Fun Fact: I cheered at the Capital One Bowl Game for the Georgia Tech vs. Perdue University game. I also LOVE Hello Kitty! |
 Name: Colleen KelskeHometown: Patchogue, New Yorkkk Year: Sophomore Major: Accounting Dance History: I have danced since I was 3 years old at a studio. Also, I danced on a studios competition team since I was nine years old. # of Years on Team: 2 Future Plans: I want to get a high paying salary so I can retire early and raise a good family. I would love to just be a stay at home mom. Fun Fact: I have a really thick LAWN GUY LAND (Long Island) accent. |
 Name: Julieann LutrarioHometown: Hamilton, Virginia Year: Freshman Major: Communications Dance History: I've been dancing since I was 4 with my teacher Mrs. Elizabeth at Dance Academy of Loudoun. Started on DAL's competition team when I was 6 or 7. # of Years on Team: 1 Future Plans: Get a good public relations job and live in both New York City and LA.Fun Fact: I'm a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan!  Name: Jenn NeilsonHometown: Byram, New Jersey Year: Junior Major: Nursing Dance History: I started dancing at age 3 at Theater Dance Center in Flanders, NJ. I was trained in many styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. I competed with my studio both regionally and nationally starting at age 7 and continued to compete through my completion of high school. # of Years on Team: 3 Future Plans: My future plans are to raise a family and become a great nurse! I would also like to keep dance a part of my life. Fun Fact: I’m Hannah Montana. |

Lee High School dance team for 4 years (co-captain 2 years). I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years. Also I participated in studio dance at Metropolitan Fine Arts Center for 4 years. # of Years on Team: 2 Future Plans: To be a physical therapist and possibly audition for a Broadway musical as a dancer. Fun Fact: I am 2 hours older than my twin brother who is also a dancer and is currently a sophomore at Julliard. |

I danced and competed at Barton and Williams School of Dance for 7 years. I was also a member of the Colonial Forge High School Dance Team where I served as co-captain my senior year. # of Years on Team: 4 Future Plans: I plan to pursue a career in accounting and hopefully continue to dance as long as possible! Fun Fact: I eat as many calories a day as Michael Phelps. |

Although I have danced at many studios, Tip Tap Toe in Elmont New York is my home studio. There I developed as a dancer in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, modern and lyrical. I was also on my high school’s national kickline/dance team. # of Years on Team: 1 Future Plans: To be successful and happy with what ever I decide to do. Fun Fact: I’m a Mexican food expert! |

When I was 5 I joined the Dance Academy of Loudoun, where I danced and competed for over 12 years!  Name: Monika Lynn ZawaskyHometown: Clinton, Maryland Year: Freshman Major: School of Media Art and Design Dance History: I have been dancing since age 2. I started out with dance and gymnastics at Linda Natoli's School of Dance, and began competitive dance at age 6. I then moved to Terry's School of Dance and Gymnastics for 5 years, and ended my competitive dance career at Power Explosion Studio of Dance. # of Years on Team: 1 Future Plans: I plan to either pursue a career in Public Relations or Advertising, or go to law school and become an Entertainment Lawyer. Fun Fact: I was a member of the Junior Redskinettes for three years, ages nine through twelve! |
