Major: Psychology with a Family Studies Minor
Dance History: I have danced FOREVER in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and precision pom classes. I was on Paul VI Catholic High School's Drill Team for four years and was a captain senior year. I also performed with the PVI Drill team in China!

Future Plans (dance related or not): After graduation I would like to join Americorps and attend graduate school for Psychology.
Fun Fact: In high school our dance team was flown to China to perform for a city's 50 year celebration. Our performance was seen by over a million people!

Dance History: Since the age of 11 I have danced jazz, ballet, and hip hop at a local studio. Throughout four years of high school I was a member of the nationally ranked Don Bosco Dance Team. I served as co-captain my senior when the team took 3rd and 4th place in the nation.

Future Plans (dance related or not): After graduation I plan on attending medical school in California. Sometime during my life I want to set aside a year to travel around the world. I hope to keep dancing even after college.

Dance History: I have danced since age 2 at Ardell Stone School of Dancing in Roanoke, VA. I was a member of the performing company for 7 years and was a student teacher for 5 years. I was trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, and jazz. I have competed in numerous regional and national competitions. I was also a member of Cave Spring High School's Dance / Drill team for 3 years and served as captain my senior year.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I hope to work in the media primarily in event planning and/or public relations, with long-term aspirations of working in advertising or magazine production. I hope to always dance no matter where life takes me.

Dance History: I have been dancing for 15 years at Dance Unlimited. I danced competitively regionally and nationally for 6 years. I was on the cheerleading squad at my high school for 3 years, pom squad for 1 year, and dance company for 4 years.

Dance History: I started dancing when I was 2 and began competing at the age of 5. I competed both regionally and nationally and won a regional title in 2004. I was trained in jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, tap, pom, and hip-hop. In addition, I was a member of my high school dance team for four years and served as a captain my senior year. I also was a UDA All-star for the past two years.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I would like to work in the magazine or advertising industry and eventually open up my own dance studio or coach a dance team.
Fun Fact: I share my birthday with my favorite actress, Audrey Hepburn.

Dance History: From the age of five I have danced at Fredericksburg School of the Performing Arts or at Orange School of the Performing Arts. I have danced competitively for nine of those thirteen years. I cheered for four years at Courtland High School in Spotsylvania County on both the fall squad and competitive squad. I'm also an All-American Cheerleader.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I plan to continue dancing with a dance minor for the next 4 years of my college career. I'm still working to decide what I truly want to do for the rest of my life, but I'm sure it will be great!
Fun Fact: I cheered at the Capital One Bowl Game for the Georgia Tech vs. Purdue University game. I also LOVE Hello Kitty!

I danced and competed at Barton and Williams School of Dance for 7 years and was a member of the Colonial Forge High School varsity dance team where I served as co-captain my senior year.

Dance History: I have danced since I was 4 years old in all areas including tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. I danced at Steppin' Up Dance Theatre for 5 years where I was a part of their competition team and attended many regional and national competitions. I just finished my last year at Rhythm Street Dance Center where I danced for 5 years and was a tap student assistant for kids ages 8-10.

Dance History: I began dancing at a very young age but fell in love with ballet in elementary school while studying at the Russell School of Ballet. I pursued ballet seriously throughout high school as well as studying other genres of dance such as jazz and modern. During the last two years of high school I also danced on the Robinson High School Dance Team and eventually became a captain my senior year.

Future Plans (dance related or not): After college, I plan to continue dancing and hopefully perform in musical theater performances.
Fun Fact: I absolutely love Broadway and I was an apprentice for Broadway Theater Project this past summer in Tampa, Florida.

Dance History: I've trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and character since the age of 5. I've also participated in summer intensives at The Washington Ballet and Nikitenko Academy of Ballet. In addition, I was a finalist in the Youth American Grand Prix Competition.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I hope to attend graduate school and go into diplomatic affairs and continue studying languages. Also, I plan to continue dance and enjoy my time performing.

Dance History: I began dancing at a studio when I was two years old and continued through high school. I studied jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, pointe, modern and tap. I danced competitively for seven years with various studios on Long Island. Most recently, I was a member of Platinum Performance Dance Academy and a member of the Huntington High School kickline/dance team for four years. Serving as captain for two years, we competed in pom, jazz and kick and were awarded Long Island Champions my senior year.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I plan to become an elementary school teacher and have a family. I also hope to continue dancing in the future either working in a studio or with a team.

Dance History: I did Irish dancing from age five to about age eleven, and then I was on the Liberty Belle Pom Squad at Magruder High School for four years. I was captain my senior year, and we won the State Title my junior and senior year in 2005 and 2006.

Future Plans (dance related or not): I'm not quite sure where I'll be in the future, but I'm sure my four years at JMU will help me get there! Hopefully dancing will still be a part of my life, and I'm also hoping I'll get to travel a lot after college.
