HORN CHOIR
Abigail Pack, conductor

Membership to non majors by invitation/audition. Performances include those at the International Horn Convention, Southeast Horn Workshop and on the campus at JMU.

PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
C. William Rice, conductor

Membership by audition. This ensemble performs a variety of music styles. Trio and quartet literature is included.

STEEL BAND
Michael Overman, director

Membership open to the entire university community by permission of the instructor. The steel band plays music of all eras, styles and genres, in its practical exploration of improvisation, arranging and composition.

TROMBONE CHOIR
Andrew Lankford, director

Membership by permission of director. This group consists of tenor and bass trombones and performs various concerts throughout the year. The trombone choir has performed at the International Trombone Festival, Eastern Trombone Workshop and JMU Brass Bash.

TRUMPET ENSEMBLE
James Kluesner, conductor

Membership by permission of conductor. This ensemble is made up of various trumpets, fluegelhorns, etc. The ensemble has performed at the International Trumpet Guild Conference, National Trumpet Competition, Charleston Festival of Trumpet and JMU Brass Bash.

TUBA and EUPHONIUM ENSEMBLE

Membership by permission of the director. This ensemble is made up of tuba and euphonium players and performs at various concerts, including the ITEA Conference.
