Each summer, the sophomore-level Music Theory and Aural Skills courses are offered on an accelerated schedule. Each semester consists of 3 weeks of class, 5 days a week, the equivalent of a full semester of normal class time. The schedule for Summer 2019 is as follows:

MUS 131 - Music Fundamentals - June 10 - July 19 - (online only)

MUS 241 -  Theory III - May 6 - May 24  (MTWThF  9:00am - 11:40am)

MUS 243 -  Aural Skills III - May 6 - May 24  (MTWThF  1:00pm - 2:45pm)

MUS 242 - Theory IV - May 28 - June 14  (MTWThF  9:00am - 11:40am)

MUS 244 -  Aural Skills IV - May 28 - June 14  (MTWThF  1:00pm - 2:45pm)

MUS 601 - Advanced Tonal Analysis and Introduction to Post-Tonal Analysis - June 24 – August 2 (online only)

Please note that these dates do not exactly line up with the normal 4-week summer terms. If you plan to take any other courses at the same time as these, please contact the theory instructor prior to registration. Any combination of the offered courses may be taken.
