MissionStatement:

Our goal is to recruit and retain minority students at JMU.

 

 

                                                       SMO's Three major programs:

 

     Take-A-Look Day:This event is a multicultural open house.

 

     Prospective Student's Weekend:This event invites admitted high school students to the JMU campus for a weekend full of events, hoping that the students will choose JMU for the upcoming academic year.

 

    Bowl-a-thon:This friendly competition between JMU organizations encourages social interaction between the various organizations at JMU.

 

 

                             Elections are normally held:

                                   The end of March/beginning of  April.
