MissionStatement:The purpose of this organization is to promote and cultivate spiritual and mental growth by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through song at James Madison University and the surrounding community.

 

 

   CGS'sthree major programs:

 

Ø     Families Day Concert:A fun-filled day for families which includes a breakfast, games and a concert.

 

Ø    Homecoming Concert: This annual concert is held

    just before the homecoming game and includes a mini- concert with the alumnae choir.

 

Ø    Anniversary Weekend:This is a celebration of our anniversary that includes a gospel extravaganza, banquet and a celebration at a local church.

 

   Elections are normally held in April
