Black Student Alliance    

    

                                               

 

MissionStatement: To articulate the problems of the black students at James Madison University and to assist in the continuing with the orientation of black students.

 

                                 BSA'sthree major programs:

 

Ø  Annual Hip-Hop Summit:This event is to address rising issues concerning our communities through the face of hip-hop. This event will be held November 29- December 1st, 2007

 

Ø  Back-to-School:This event will be held Friday September, 1st, 2006 at 4pm

 

Ø  EbonyExposure Week: This is a week-long event to promote unity and outreach to the JMU community with educational programs as well as providing entertainment through a series of  various activities and events. This event will be held Satruday March 24 - March 31st, 2007.

 

*  Elections are held at the end of each spring semester.
