Mission Statement: To cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems among girls and women in order to improve their social stature and to maintain progressive interest in college life and to be of service to all mankind.

 

        Ø     AKA's three major programs:

 

·      Buckle Up America:Providing information about        

         driving safety and the importance of wearing seatbelts.

 

·        Mr. & Ms. Enchantment (Spring):Displays James Madison University's finest and provides the winners with prizes and scholarships.

 

·         SkeeWeek:A week full of community service projects and programs celebrating our chapter here at James Madison University.

 

             Ø     Elections are normally held each November
