The Contemporary Gospel Singers will host its annual Homecoming Weekend Concert. Come join CGS and the JMU Alumni for an event filled with more songs and inspiration. This event is free and open to the public.

The Annual Homecoming Step Show will take place Saturday October 17, 2009 at 8pm in the Wilson Hall Auditorium. Doors will open at 7pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and are available at the Warren Hall Box Office, Room 302, until Thursday, October 15th. Tickets will also be sold in the CMSS Office on Friday, October 16th.
Online ticket purchases will be provided at the Will Call area at the Step Show.
The Homecoming After Party will be held from 10pm-2am in the Godwin Hall Gymnasium. The After Party is $3 to attend and you must present a valid college ID - No Exceptions!
November 6-8, 2009 (Sign-ups begin on October 20th!)
Sign-ups begin at 8am on Tuesday, October 20th in CMSS! The cost is $20 and due upon signing up.
JMU students from various backgrounds will participate in a trip to Washington, D.C. to examine the different historical and cultural sites in the nation's capital. The experience will include immersion through museums, restaraunts and heritage centers. For more information, contact Ms. Tracy Lanier at laniertl@jmu.edu.
Wednesday, October 28th and Thursday, October 29th
In collaboration with Career and Academic Planning, CMSS will provide transportation for students to attend Diversity Career Day at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA October 28-29. Diversity Career Day attracts over 150 corporations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies seeking candidates with diverse backgrounds.
Students will have the option of attending the event one day or both days. Buses will leave JMU at 9am and return at 2pm on each day.
