Our Mission
The Center for Multicultural Student Services (CMSS) assists James Madison University in promoting and encouraging diversity and cultural understanding. We support all races and ethnicities by
- organizing diverse events such as speakers, trips, workshops, and conferences
- sponsoring 30 multi-ethnic student organizations
- providing academic and career help
- advocating for students of color
Any student can be involved in any of our programs or activities, and we also employ students as assistants or in mentorship positions.
