EVENT INFORMATION

Below, we are providing information for our guests and participants in order to proivde you with the most comprehensive and beneficial information to plan your visit to Harrisonburg. 

Welcome to James Madison University!

HARRISONBURG is located at the intersection of Interstate 81, US-33, and US-11.  Interstates 81 and 64 intersect about 25 miles south of Harrisonburg.  James Madison University is located between I-81 exits 247 (US-33) and exit 245 (Port Republic Road). 

FROM I-81

1.)   Exit I-81 using Exit 245 (Port Republic Road). 

2.)    Head WEST on Port Republic (if arriving from the north, take a RIGHT off of the exit ramp, if arriving from the south, take a LEFT off of the exit ramp). 

3.)   At the first signal light after the I-81 overpass, turn RIGHT at the first signal light onto Bluestone Drive.  This is the main entrance to campus.

4.)   Follow Bluestone Drive to the first stop sign.  You will see Bridgeforth Stadium to your left. 

5.)    Turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Champions Drive.

6.)   Follow the road to the stadium parking deck (adjacent to the stadium).

HANDICAP PARKING is reserved on Levels 1&2 of the parking deck.  For special arrangements, please contact the JMU Band Office – (540) 568-6656. 

ELEVATORS are available in the parking deck on all levels, as well as at the main stadium entrance.

Admission and Seating

TICKETS & ADMISSION ARE SOLD THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

ADULTS - $15 (admission good all day)

STUDENTS/SENIORS - $10 (admission good all day)

Visiting Harrisonburg

CONCESSIONS AND MERCHANDISE 

As always, our music student organizations will be providing POC merchandise for purchase during the event.  We will have several merchandise tables set up around the stadium for you, your students, and their families to browse.  In addition, JMU Concessions and Domino’s Pizza will be open during the event to sell food and beverages to participants and spectators.  You may also choose to bring your group off campus to one of the many restaurants or shopping centers within a few miles of campus.
