Randolph Hite 1978
Randolph Hite, director of information
technology architecture and systems issues for the General
Accounting Office, was named to the 2004 Federal 100 list. Hite's
specialty is enterprise architecture. He leads a team that
evaluates the progress of agencies developing their architectures
to guide information technology planning and investments. "His
professional approach in dealing with federal IT areas requiring
improvement always results in independent yet collaborative
approaches in improving federal IT management," says David Powner,
GAO director of information technology management issues. In May,
Hite testified before the House Reform Committee's subcommittee on
technology, information policy and census. C-SPAN covered Hite's
testimony on electronic voting systems and federal enterprise
architecture.
