Macy's makes way for Dukes

Marching band to parade on Thanksgiving Day

Move over Rocky and Bullwinkle. Step lively Snoopy. The Marching Royal Dukes will be hot on your trail in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The JMU marching band, directed by J. Patrick Rooney, is one of 12 college and high school bands from North Ameri-ca selected for the 75th annual Macy's parade in New York City.

Tune in on Thanksgiving Day to see the Dukes perform for an estimated worldwide television audience of 65 million viewers.
