Apply for a Research or Program Innovation Grant

The Madison Collaborative offers two grants to support new research and programming efforts focused on ethical reasoning as applied to personal, professional, and civic life. This support will encourage ongoing renewed engagement with ethical reasoning content and will broaden participation among JMU faculty and staff, and students with a faculty or staff sponsor. Grant applications are due on a rolling basis, the 1st of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December). Applications are peer reviewed and decisions/awards are made by the first of the following month. Applications are posted in the "Resources" section on the home page.

Apply for a Faculty or Student Affairs Fellowship

The MC offers a one- to two-year fellowship to at least one full-time faculty member and one full-time Student Affairs professional who engage with MC leadership, MC Council members, faculty, students, and staff through a wide range of activities and serve as liaisons to the campus community. Future candidates will wish to deepen their understanding of ethical reasoning in action and extend educational efforts on campus and beyond. Responsibilities will be negotiated with the Madison Collaborative Chair to achieve a balance between the needs of the MC and expertise of the Fellow.

Applications are available. Please email mc@jmu.edu with your interest or questions.
