Undergraduate Research in Biology and Mathematics


Teaching and Curriculum

In addition to providing students with an interdisciplinary research experience, this project intends to promote a broader impact on the teaching of students in both biology and mathematics on the growing connections between these disciplines. Many of the faculty have and will participate in team-taught interdisciplinary courses targeted at bringing biology and mathematics students into the classroom together. Faculty participating in the project will develop self-contained curricular modules illustrating these connections. As these are established, this page will be the local repository for the modules. We will also submit the modules to established web-based repositories, with corresponding links posted here.
