Dr. Mert Tokman
Mert Tokman (Ph.D., Manderson
Graduate School of Business, University of Alabama, MBA, University
of Arkansas - LR, B.B.A., Business Administration, University of
Istanbul) is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of
Business at James Madison University. He teaches Business
Marketing and Sales Management. For five years before entering
academe, Dr. Tokman worked in the marketing research industry for
such corporations like Energy and Taylor Nelson Sofres as a
customer satisfaction and loyalty consultant.
His research interests include business-to-business relationship
marketing, distribution channel management, and supply chain
networks. He has published articles in Journal of
Retailing, Journal of Business Logistics, Industrial Marketing
Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Brand
Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and
Logistics Management, and Multinational Business
Review. Dr. Tokman's dissertation research is in the
area of Manufacturer-Retailer relationship models and funded by
University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of
Business.
