Mrs. Marsha Shenk

Mrs. Marsha Shenk has worked at JMU since 1988 and has been in the CoB Academic Services Center since 1995.  Prior to coming to JMU, Marsha worked as a Legislative Aide for State Senator Nathan Miller.  She currently serves as the Marketing Advisor for all marketing students. 

Marsha and her husband, Edward, own and operate Harrisonburg Truck Service.  She keeps the books for the company in her spare time.  They have one son, Jared, who graduated from the JMU College of Business in 2006 and works for the Whitman-Walker Health Clinic in Washington D.C.  Marsha is pursuing her IS degree at JMU, serves as the advisor for Alpha Kappa Psi (one of the CoB's professional business fraternities), and is working on the Relay for Life committee for the American Cancer Society.
