Dr. Claire Pera Bolfing

Dr. Claire Pera Bolfing is a Professor of Marketing and External Relations coordinator for the Marketing Department at James Madison University.  She teaches principles of marketing, database marketing, survey research, and strategic marketing management.  Her research interests include customer relationship marketing and customer satisfaction, marketing assessment, and marketing for not for profit organizations.  Her research has appeared in Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Services Marketing, and various conference proceedings.  She has served as a consultant to the Virginia Center for Innovative Technology and has delivered customer service programs to numerous government and private organizations.  Recently, she served as the JMU Marketing program director for eight years.  Dr. Bolfing holds an undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and M.B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
